A lovely little lust list

Sorry for not having blogged in a little while, I have been moving home from University in preparation for the real world… well as much as you can class living with my parents “the real world”. But still. I have got a new job lined up as a Marketing Co-ordinator, which I will start on the 15th of July, but until then, I am very much penny-less and lusting over things that I just cannot afford. So, I decided to write a short post on certain things that I’d be spending my money on right now if I wasn’t so poor!
1. camera-4-640x430 (Image by beautyandrags.co.uk) What I wouldn’t do to have one of these beauties in my life. I want to be part of the Olympus PEN generation! I give it two months at work until I cave and treat myself to this camera. Did I say two months? I meant two weeks.
2. bumbag(Image by merrimaking.co.uk) Have you ever seen a happier looking bumbag? I don’t think you have… This is the cutest looking thing and I feel like I need it in my life for festival fun. Found this on Lazy Oaf’s website… absolutely love Lazy Oaf at the moment. I think because it’s summer I want all of my clothes to look fun and crazy… all the time. After getting the image from Merrimaking.co.uk, I then discovered Merrimaking… which lead me on to my next lust item…
3. Disco-product_Merrimaking(Image by Merrimaking.co.uk) The DISCO sweatshirt. I love this. I love disco. That is all. I advise any festival lovers to check out Merrimaking if you haven’t heard of them! Bound to cheer up a drizzly Monday.
4. 5560435980795_046_b (Image by Urban Outfitters.com) In my head I’m imagining a barbecue on a terrace, corks popping, drinks flowing, summer tunes breezing through my (imaginary) swanky flat… You feeling it too? Absolutely love this record player from Urban Outfitters… Now I’ve just got to get my own place and matching furniture and everything… No biggie.
5. 811XBaEo4EL._SL1500_(Image by Amazon. com) Now my final thing is a little bit of a cheat as my Mum (who I am currently living with) did actually buy one of these so I do have daily access to one. But this means I know how great it is… and it’s pretty great! I love just throwing in healthy ingredients and making all sorts of crazy looking blends. Man, I’m so wild. But healthiness is the first step to happiness! Or something like that…

Hope you all enjoyed my lust-list and it gives you some summer inspo for spending your money… if you didn’t have enough already!

Peace love and lust-lists xxx

Because everybody loves a crazy day…

Dolls kill
Now Dolls Kill is not for the faint hearted… and some of the clothes on this website are pretty out-there! However, every time I look on this site, there are always some gems that I am after! And if there isn’t, I just love the styling of the website images. I fully intend to plait my hair like that and do the make-up above all summer long!

It’s not all that cheap… but it’s so much fun!

I love these Drivin’ Mizz Daizy Sunglasses ($60) They are too cute… I’m definitely going to go on a cool-sunglasses-hunt at festivals this summer and see if I can find any bargains!

Festival Sample Sale… not to be missed!

Image

I am truly upset that I cannot make this sample sale. It is a sample sale… full of festival clothes. My two big loves in life, clothes and festivals, combined in to one awesome shopping spree.

It’s probably a good thing that I can’t go because I would spend way too much and not be able to afford to actually go to any festivals… But I’m telling everybody else to go, buy loads of yummy things, enjoy them… and then lend them to me 😉

Details: 18th June, Stokes Croft at 6:00pm

The Sample sale will be stocked up with lots of lovelies from Burnt Soul Clothing, Puckoo Couture and many more!

Burnt Soul clothing does amazing catsuits, which I would loveeeee to buy, but they are quite pricey… however… it’s a SALE so I’m sure they’ll be at bargain prices! I’m too jealous. Join the #LycraRevolution !

Peace and Love x

Let us get lashed in our beautiful dreams…

entertaining lashmystical lash

In Your Dreams is a beauty/accessories brand, founded by two illustrator/artists, which uses a variety of embellishment and sparkle to decorate faces and bodies.

I saw this brand being mentioned on the Boutique Alter Ego Facebook page and as I love all things pretty and sparkly, I had to take a look. The eyelashes on this website are incredible… they come in all sorts of shapes and colours, with different jewels for all different occasions. (All very suitable for festivals/fancy dress)

Currently on the website, you can only purchase eyelashes, but they have their Temporary Tattoo collection coming soon, which I can imagine will be pretty magnificent and just in time for the summer season.

Definitely worth having a browse if you like pretty things…

Lets look beautiful and spend a little less…

I would wear Free People clothes (above) all the time if I could. But these amazing clothes come at a price…

So today I’m finding some cheap as chips alternatives that will make you look just as free and beautiful as the models from Free People. All you will be missing is the desert…

This photo from the Free People blog caught my eye, because I absolutely love the blouse that she is wearing… but at $148, one can only dream. My birthday has just gone, so it doesn’t look hopeful.

So, I thought I’d have a little skim of the internet and find out what other less expensive blouses are on offer for people like me who are dreaming of being Free People…

Ellie Boho Print Wrap Front Blouse £18 Boohoo – This boho blouse is very pretty and will look gorgeous with some brown boots (copying the Free People photo above!) Personally, I’d buy it a little larger than my actual size because I think blouses like this look better when they are a bit large and floaty, more dress like… But each to their own! With the money you’d save from buying this item, maybe you could try and get a flight to a desert! – You never know!

Tilly Oversized Contrast Panel Tunic Top £12 Boohoo – This is another favourite at only £12! I love the print on this and the detail. Although short sleeved (and quite different to the picture above) this would look gorgeous at a festival with some boots and shorts.

EMBROIDERED SMOCK BLOUSE BY KATE MOSS FOR TOPSHOP £60 Topshop – OK, so being slightly naughty (but you are paying for the embellishment on this one!) this gorgeous blouse by Kate Moss is such a winner. The embellishment really stands out and will make you sparkle in the sunshine! Great festival item and guess what…. machine washable! What more could you want?!

TASSEL FEATHER PRINT BLOUSE BY KATE MOSS FOR TOPSHOP £75 Topshop – I just had to edit this one in as although the most expensive… I think I am in love. There’s a possibility I even prefer this one to the one on the Free People blog… So well done Kate Moss!

You could even buy all four!

Happy pretty boho blouse shopping 🙂

Keeping up with the crochet…

Keeping up with the crochet...

This is another photo taken from (obviously) my favourite blog/site/online clothes shop – Free People.

I never used to be a massive fan of crochet, but I’ve been seeing it everywhere recently! And when I think about it, I can see why it’s such a great summer trend!

It looks pretty…. you can wear it with everything…. you can where it over swimwear…. you won’t get too hot in it…. the list goes on and on.

I’ve been having a little browse for some nice (and cheapish!) crochet items so here we go:
(I’ve found some BEAUTIES!)

Kiera Crochet Knit Strappy Top £20 (Boohoo)
http://www.boohoo.com/new-in/kiera-crochet-knit-strappy-top/invt/azz31664
Seriously who could tell the difference between this and something from Free People?! It’s soooo prettyyyy, the circular design looks gorgeous and it’s nice and strappy, ready for summer festival days!

Crochet Shorts £24 (Topshop)
http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?searchTerm=crochet&storeId=12556&productId=14842824&urlRequestType=Base&categoryId=&langId=-1&productIdentifier=product&catalogId=33057
How cute are these!? Easy to wear with a simple tee or strap top… my only concern is festival grass stains!

Lucca Couture Crochet Shift Dress £47.59 (NastyGal)
http://www.nastygal.com/product/lucca-couture-crochet-shift-dress
Ok, so a little more pricey… but definitely a favourite! Really pretty detailing and simple to wear, no need to dress it up.

All you need to worry about now girls is the grass stains! – Or you could take note of the photo and buy some colourful crochet!

Peace and Love x

Get your alter ego out

I wish right now, that I was dancing around in the sun somewhere wearing anything from Boutique Alter Ego.

I think I’d be in a much better mood wearing one of these right now:

Instead… I’m rocking office wear, staring out the window at the rain, dreaming of the summer and beautifully printed colourful clothing.

Boutique Alter Ego’s new digitally printed collection is amazing. Enough to give a little happiness to anyone who wears one of these gorgeous items. I am still waiting on the soon-to-come collection of Alter-Ego specials, which will be a collection of statement pieces, all inspirational and stunning, ready for special occasions and the one and only festival season.

I will continue to dream zzzzzzzzzzzzzz……
