Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, Hot cloth cleanser is an absolute dream. It really does feel like you’ve just come out of Facial appointment every time you cleanse.
This week I’ve been trying to wear no make up most days. There is no big reason, it is just something I’ve been trying out to save a bit of money (on makeup) and clear up my skin a bit. My skin isn’t terrible, but I do get the occasional break out like most people. It is combination – it gets quite oily, but in this bleak Winter weather it can get quite dull and dry.
After halloween, a couple of friends came back to my flat for a few drinks as we weren’t going out (trying to save some money again – the life of a University student!!) and we were all covered in halloween makeup and not looking too pretty. After a couple of drinks, we thought it’d be a good idea to have a group cleanse, so I brought out the Liz Earle (a present off my Mum!) and we drunkenly got cleansing… weird but true.
Anyway, my friend absolutely fell in love with my cleanser and I thought I’d write a blog post about how right she is to do so – because it’s amazing!
You cleanse the face using your fingers in circular motions and then use a hot cloth to polish off the cleanser, before rinsing finally with warm water. I can honestly tell you that it gives you such a great glow, you feel like you’ve had a facial! It’s a very creamy cleanser and a little goes a long way. It feels like it is moisturising your face, but without being heavy in consistency. It’s so light and airy, your skin just feels so clean afterwards.
It’s quite pricey (around £15), but guess what is coming up soon? You know that thing where people exchange presents?! – Yes, I refuse to mention the name of it until after my December deadlines!
