Wide brimmed hats are everywhere in high street stores right now.
I am a huge fan of this trend – I think the right hat can always add a little sophistication and bring an outfit together. I currently own a black fedora hat from Topshop, which I absolutely love because it always makes me feel a bit more glam on a “not-so-glam” kind of day….
But lately I have been oh so very tempted to cheat on my beautiful fedora (which I rocked for most of summer) for something just that little bit more elegant looking. During a sneaky browse of Topshop, I fell in love with a wide brimmed floppy felt hat in Burgundy. This piece of gorgeous would have, however, cost me £28… and as a very poor student currently, I had to swiftly take myself out of the shop and drive myself home immediately.
After this shopping (no, actually BROWSING) trip, the only way to ease the pain of not purchasing this item was to blog about beautiful hats – hence the gushy hat blog post!
